The Company
This well-established company based between York and Malton are looking for someone to join their Buying/Supply Chain team.
The Role
You will be analytically minded and commercially aware, with amazing IT and organisational skills to help deliver outstanding value and excellent performance across our product ranges.
Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager you will play a crucial role in providing commercial input into existing products and discovering new and exciting products to bring to market.
This role would suit someone from either a marketing/sales background, purchasing background, or a strong senior admin background.
Duties
·Constantly review product listing performance across all marketplaces including analysis of competitors.
·Suggest recommendations based on your findings, communicate across different departments and implement them where applicable.
·Use AB testing to review and enhance product listings across marketplaces to ensure high ranking.
·Research and collate market, consumer, seasonal and competitor data.
·Research what performs well across all current and new marketplaces using various tools available.
·Design and develop reports utilising existing systems.
·Keep up to date with current and future product trends.
·Use findings to create new ideas for commercially successful products.
·Expand on existing product ranges.
·Negotiate with suppliers.
·Encourage the commercial success of new products.

Skills
·Strong commercial awareness.
·Good maths skills.
·Forward-thinking, innovative and pro-active.
·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
·Experience in an analytical or buying role would be beneficial.
·E-Commerce knowledge would be advantageous.
