A well-established company based between York and Malton are looking for a hands-on Accounts and Finance Administrator to join their team.
·Support the management team as required by providing an effective and efficient administration service ensuring that the workshop and finance functions of the business operates at maximum efficiency
The main duties of this role are to:
·Process purchase and sales ledger invoices via Synergist on time without errors
·Regularly reference and archive paperwork in order to be able to identify and retrieve easily if required
·Accurately handle bank, credit card, expenses and petty cash reconciliations on time
·Reconcile statement with supplier invoices accurately and on time
·Update cash flow on a daily basis
·Support the Finance Director in all operational tasks
To be successful the role holder will be:
·Methodical in their approach to a busy schedule / working to targets and organised in their approach to time management
·Able to work effectively with minimum supervision and instruction, working on their own initiative
·Able to interact effectively with all staff to build strong working relationships and engender confidence and trust
·Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, with high levels of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
·A commercially aware in their approach to customer requirements and service levels
·Able to analyse information and make sound judgments based on it
