Our client is a rapidly growing global e-commerce delivery company based in the Basildon area and they currently have an opportunity for a highly organised and efficient Sales Support Assistant to join their large sales team on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Sales Support Manager, key responsibilities for the Sales Support Assistant include:
-Completing all tasks from weekly task planner accurately and on time every week.
-Willing to take on adhoc tasks at any time, potentially at short notice, and effectively completing these tasks to a high standard.
-Take detailed actions / minutes (where required) at meetings and report this back to Sales Heads / Sales Director.
-Be the champion for your designated part of the team (New Business / Account Management) and support the members within this team and the Head of Department with any requirements they have.
-Proactively look to improve ways of working and make suggestions to improve accuracy, increase revenues or save time.
-Be willing to support all members of the team and treat all members of the team fairly and in line with the Sales Team Charter.
-Organising team meetings, producing agendas and sending invitations.
-Accurately produce reports to show the teams progress and successes. All reports must be completed to a very high standard and always be completed in time to meet deadlines.
-Generate leads every month to be shared amongst the New Business team.
-Produce the Sales Team Newsletter.
-Assist with requests that will help our client keep their customers happy, ie. Performance Reports.
-Complete the Onboarding Process for all new customers.
-Follow process for setting up new FedEx Express accounts and collections.
-Order FedEx Stationery for customers where needed.
-Produce plans for all new starters to the team, order their equipment and help them settle into the business.
-Own the Onboarding process including Customer Proposals, Onboarding forms, Onboarding Calls and the Onboarding Log.

-Excellent analysis and interpretive skills with high attention to detail
-Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Ability to analyse data to make confident decisions and continuously improve the service
-Happy to work under pressure whilst always keeping the company ethos and values close to every decision you make
-Ability to manage own time effectively
-Consistently produce work to a very high standard
-Ability to adapt to changes in the company or the industry and be able to embrace these changes and be a champion to the team when implementing them.

Office hours:
-9am to 5.30pm Mon to Fri (37.5 per week)
