gap professional are recruiting for a Registered Manager - Children services for a children's residential home situated near to Grantham, Nottingham. My client is well established and is a leading provider of children services and have continued to be awarded outstanding by Ofsted.

·Salary - £32,878- £42,675 depending on experience
·Hours - Full time permanent vacancy
·Area - Near to Grantham, Nottingham

Responsibilities - Registered Care Manager - Children Services

·To supervise and offer constructive feedback and be involved in the assessment and supervision of staff.
·To advise on policies and procedures to reflect the aims and objectives of the Home; to develop systems for monitoring progress towards the achievement of such aims and objectives.
·To ensure services are delivered according to the statement of purpose for the home.
·Accessing development needs of residents and to monitor and improve Home's care plan and practices.
·To generate an open and supportive atmosphere between staff and residents.
·Manage and operate budgets within the agreed outlines of the Home.
·Ensure that a young person contributes as far as feasible in the review process.
·To ensure there is a plan for young people
·Create and develop links between the community and Home to enable children to participate fully in the life of the community.

Skills required -

·Level 5 Diploma (Residential Childcare or equivalent).
·Experience within a similar service is required due to having a working knowledge of Ofsted requirements.
·Have experience in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.
·The passion and desire to motivate staff and service users to achieve their full potential.
·Preferred, commuting distance from Grantham, Nottingham
·Driving License is essential due to rural location.
