Job Type: Permanent
Location: Bristol
Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000

SUMMARY:

To act under the direction of the Logistics Team Leader to carry out the receipt, storage, preparation for re-sale, packing and dispatch of all goods. Co-operating with other teams and utilising your dispatch team experience to ensure customer expectations are met at all times is essential. The daily schedule of dispatches is to guide each day's activities. Company systems, electronic and otherwise will be utilised to the full in the executive of duties.

THE ROLE:

Goods In:

  • Receiving and recording of all incoming goods utilising company systems where appropriate
  • Distribution of deliveries internally e.g. Samples
  • Work with Quality Control Manager to check quality of product prior to dispatch

Warehouse:

  • Storage of goods in a tidy, organised and logical order
  • Labelling of stock for clear identification
  • Use company stock identification systems
  • Prepare branded product stock repacking as required
  • Assist with regular Stock Checks in accordance with current company policy

Bottling, Labelling and Packaging:

  • Bottling of various products using various filling machine
  • Labelling bottles with labels specific to order requirements
  • Packaging of bottles to job specific requirements
  • Dispatching of orders to agreed timeframe

Dispatch:

  • Picking and dispatch of stock item orders in accord with agreed targets & timeframes
  • Preparation for dispatch of bespoke item orders as specified on job sheet e.g. counting, banding, shrink-wrapping and labelling
  • Entry of dispatches onto third party Courier Systems
  • Co-ordinate loading of goods onto courier vehicles
  • Processing of all job related documentation in a timely fashion
  • Recoding any KPI information as instructed

Meeting Schedule can includes but is not limited to:

  • Attend a weekly meeting with an set agenda with Logistics Manager
  • The post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may be reasonably expected within the scope and grading of the post

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Logistics experience in a similar role
  • Sage experience (desirable)
  • Positive can do attitude and work ethic
  • IT Literate
  • Stock Control (Advantage)
