A world class manufacturing facility based in the heart of Wrexham is looking to expand their sales team. Our client is looking for a Sales Support Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and technical support to the client's sales team and all customers. The Sales Support Coordinator will manage all levels of customer support required within the client's sales network.

Pay & Hours of Work

  • £20,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience
  • Monday - Friday / 8:45am-5:15pm


User support of client's new media tools and IT systems:

  • Working on client's web based online ordering system
  • HVC Viewer - An 'augmented reality' iPad app for demonstrating products
  • VisuReal Portable - An iPad app to capture product measurements
  • Client Vision Consultant - A web-based system to assist with consultations
  • Client Identifier - A web-based system to support the dispense of premium products
  • Local systems developed by UK IT Team

Sales Support Team Administrative Tasks:

  • Creation of monthly reports
  • Customer account administration
  • Business case administration
  • Customer contracts
  • Price list maintenance
  • Client log catalogue maintenance


  • It is essential for candidates to have experience of working within the optical industry
  • Customer orientated, results driven, creative problem solver, makes things happen with sense of urgency
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Creative thinking and have a good eye for detail
  • High level of IT literacy
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in supporting the Sales Team and Customers
  • Able to work as part of a team and also individually
  • Ability to work flexible with the needs of the business
  • Ideally minimum of 5 GCSE's including Maths and English
  • Further education/ Higher Education in Business, Marketing or IT
  • Pro-active development of own vocational knowledge including technical and interpersonal skills and understanding of company processes
