As a result of continued growth our client based in the Deeside area are currently looking to recruit a Service Technician on a full time, permanent basis. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will be joining a growing business and this role will support the sales team and contracts at various customer sites around the UK and Ireland.

Pay & Hours of Work

  • Monday - Friday / 8:30am - 4:30pm (Based in Deeside)
  • When working on sites hours will vary
  • £27k - £29k per annum dependant on experience

Responsibilities

  • You will have the ability to understand the meet the needs of our client's customers
  • Visit customer sites on a regular basis as scheduled
  • Manage projects and make recommendations
  • Provide onsite technical support services
  • Collect and analyse data
  • To attend sites within the UK, Ireland and overseas
  • Support in the maintenance/refurbishment of food processing machinery
  • Working on electrical control panels
  • Deal with customers on repair and safety issues
  • Work on own initiative to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Production of documentation, including in-depth technical reports, following visits and as required by the customer and internally

Requirements

  • Apprentice trained and formally qualified
  • Fully conversant with electrical/mechanical engineering procedures and disciplines
  • Experience of 3-Phase Electric Motors
  • Build and fault-find Electrical Panels
  • Understand Electrical Drawings
  • Excellent communicator
  • Flexible approach
  • Full clean UK Driving License
  • Knowledge of pneumatics advantageous but not essential
  • FLT License would be an advantage but not essential
